I began my career in tax law and accounting with the IRS. After four years as a Federal Agent and four years as an attorney with the IRS’s Chief Counsels Office, I spent the next 36 years in public accounting. I worked with some of the largest publicly traded corporations in the United States, working in the area of mergers and acquisitions, with much experience in transaction planning. I worked closely with executives in the C-Suite, with many appearances before the company’s Board of Directors.
After I retired from a career in public accounting, I decided that I wanted to pursue a consulting practice. I envisioned a high level, specialized practice that would enable our Firm to use both our accounting and legal backgrounds without the constraints inherent with the AICPA guidelines.
After finding a partner with broad IT experience we both decided to combine our backgrounds to provide merger and acquisition consulting services to small to mid-level businesses that seek to expand through acquisitions. Our Firm TD Global Consulting opened in February 2013.
